The three dust samples (61381-1, 2, 3) you sent us from asbestos removal in the basement boiler room of 300 George Street, New Haven, Connecticut have been analyzed for asbestos per your request. The fourth dust sample (61581-4) was analyzed gravimetrically by Occupational Health Services, a Division of American Can Company. The three asbestos air samples were analyzed according to National Institute of Occupational Health and Safety guidelines. The results are based on your data and the analytical report as follows:

Sample (61381-1) exceeds the OSHA medial surveillance guideline for asbestos at 0-1 fibers/cc (29 CFR 1910.1001). None of the asbestos samples exceed the OSHA PEL of 2 fibers/cc of air. The total nuisance dust sample is below the PEL of 10 mg/m^.
