With 42 member companies in the VCSA, JO or 71$ have responded to the survey. 2. Of the 50 responses, 12 or 40# indicated preference for a one day meeting devoted to OSHA and EPA in mid-April, 1975* Of the 12, 6 preferred a meeting in the "south". Other locations were split, 3 and 3* 3. Of the responses, 18 or 60# indicated preference for a two day meeting in mid-May devoted to OSHA, EPA, and Safety Subjects. Of the 18 selec ting this choice, 10 indicated preference for a meeting in the "east" with "mid-west" as second best* Typical of such a survey, we have gotten a mixture of preferences. If majority preference is the rule, I would conclude that a two day meeting be held in the east; however, it is well to point out that included in the responses are six for off-shore members who naturally would vote for a two day meeting with an eastern location to reduce travel. After you have contacted the other Officers, please advise me so that I can release advance notification of the meeting. I have forwarded a copy of this information to the Officers.
