The electron capture fingerprints of the extracts from each sample do not show any Indication of biodegradation.
The decrease in concentration observed Is probably the result of
dilution and adsorption of the Aroclor in the original waste water as It moves from the NCR plant to the treatment facilities.
However, It is possible lhat the high level of "fresh" Aroclor present has completely masked any degradation that might have occurred to Aroclor previously discharged.
