This was terminated last November 1967. The work still goes on with the support of the original industrial sponsors. I would not consent to any account of this work, or of any publicity, as being under the sponsorship of N.I.H. Neither is there any useful purpose to be served by publicising the work at this time* There may be some fireworks at the time of its publication, and if so, that would be the time for publicity, but not for its initiation here. For those stories the NIH decides would be usable, a photographer x7ill be sent from Bethcsda, Md. The results will be distributed to publications throughout the nation.. We have already had some success with this Section -- for instance. Dr. Ralph Scott's use of data-phone equip ment in his orthogonal electrocardiogram research. At this time we are contacting everyone on the current NIH grant list to ask if each of you will think of your research in terms of photography. Almost every project has the possibility of at least one good picture of some facet of the work; most will have a number of picture possibilities.
