You are invited to attend the Monsanto Chemical Company Plant Public Affairs Conference, Wednesday, April 26 and Thursday, April 27, at the Sheraton West Port Inn, St. Louis, Mo.
The conference will address both community relations and employee communications issues. Major topics include preparing for environmental activism; communicating safety and productivity; and establishing community advisory groups. A reception and dinner are planned for the evening of April 26 at the Missouri Botanical Garden. An exciting line-up of both Monsanto and outside speakers is scheduled for Thursday at the Sheraton West Port Inn. The agenda for the conference is enclosed. This conference is another opportunity for you to meet your counterparts from other plants and exchange ideas. There is no charge to you for the conference outside of your personal travel
expenses.
Plant managers, please note: The conference is optional for you, but we encourage you to send representatives from your plant whether or not they are on the distribution.
Also enclosed is a registration form. Please complete and return it to Fran Ringkor, G4WF, by April 12.
For your travel planning, buses for the reception on
April 26 will leave the hotel at 5:00 p.m. Departures
from St. Louis on April 27 should be arranged any time
after 6:00 p.m.
