Such of the Health Supplies Branch, War Production Board, that Dr. Karl Bambach of your organization has been doing considerable research work in the use of tin lined lead tubes for packaging of medicinals. This office is desirous of securing up-to-the-minute information upon such packaging and would appreciate any information which you may desire to submit. The Medical Department of the Army has hesitated to specify tin lined lead tubes for ointments due to the possible danger of contamination and subsequent lead poisoning.
