For several years I have had charge of the preventive work in a storage battery concern using in principle tha method described recently by Dr. McCord of . I am Pa r ticularly interested in what your experiences are as to the efficiency of this or other blood examinations as a protective procedure to men constantly exposed to lead. We feel that to a certain extent such tests are of considerable aid although occasionally we are suddenly disillusioned with no reasonable explanation. Thirthermore, I am especially in terested in what your views are concerning tiie advisability of quantitative urine examinations and to what extent you are using them or advising them as a preventive measure.
