Condit's May 14, 1971 communication to you, we have today re ceived and are transmitting herewith a copy of the Program designed by the Food and Drug Administration for the referenced June 18 session. We are sorry that we were unable to send you this information earlier but trust you will understand that the preparation of the Program was in the hands of the Food and Drug Adminis tration staff so we were only supplied with the material by Mr. John A. Kedzior, Chief of the Industry Guidance Branch of the Division of Compliance Programs of FDA today. In any event, we would think that all of you, especially those who have already indicated they will attend the Seminar, will be interested in seeing the rather complete agenda provided. As we hope you are aware, and as the en closed will certainly make even clearer, the Food and Drug Administration staff will be taking the lead in the proceedings although it is fully anticipated that the attendees will contribute significantly by way of their questions and the responses they elicit. We are very grateful to General Delmore, Mr. Kedzior, and all of the others at FDA for making this program possible, and are so advising them by means of copies of this letter.
