I have the pleasure of forwarding the attached invitation to Administrator Pruitt to address the senior executives of the Glass Packaging Institute--which represents the domestic glass industry, including three glass plants in Oklahoma--sometime convenient to him between 8 am and 9:30 am on Wednesday May 3 at the Monocle on the Senate side of the Hill. I presume Administrator Pruitt is well familiar with the Oklahoma glass industry (plants in Muskogee, Sapulpa and Henryetta alone employ 1,200 Oklahomans) and can well appreciate that the entire glass industry is very interested in a range of important initiatives EPA is now undertaking that are of material importance to America's glass manufacturers. I note that Senator Inhofe has agreed to address the GPI execs from 8 am to 8:15 am that morning; if the Administrator would like to dovetail with Senator Inhofe's comments, perhaps at 8:15 to 8:30 or so, that would be marvelous, but GPI obviously would want to accommodate the Administrator at any time that would be convenient for his schedule. If I can be of assistance, please just let me know.
