When I spoke with you after you received my July 28, 1993 letter confirming that the Wills and Lawrence depositions would not go forward, you did not state or indicate that the cancellation was untimely or would inconvenience the deponents or counsel. In fact, you stated that the change was fine. As to the basis for postponing the Wills depositions, I have enclosed a copy of a Westinghouse privilege form, which Westinghouse submitted to the court as part of! its in camera submission, for a document in which Mr.j Wills is copied. Westinghouse's privilege claim and pending motion undoubtedly raise a controversy which should be resolved prior !to trie deposition of Mr. Wills. ; i i If Mr. Lawrence and Mr. Wills were inconvenienced, it is indeed regrettable.
