I want to share an update that five Cabinet members have agreed to sign the PSRW co-chair letter so far--Commerce Secretary Ross, Transportation Secretary Chao, VA Secretary Shulkin, Labor Acting Secretary Hugler and SBA Administrator McMahon. Hopefully this will help encourage Administrator Pruitt to sign as well.
Please let me know if you need any additional information. I am out of the office this week, but checking email periodically. I've also copied Amy Mayer who is helping collect the signatures as they're approved.

Our annual Public Service Recognition Week celebration is coming soon (May 7-13, 2017) and I would like to invite Administrator Pmitt to sign on as a honorary co-chair. This simple yet meaningful gesture lets employees know that their work is valued and appreciated. For the past five years w e've been delighted to include all 15 Cabinet department heads, and this year w e're expanding the invitation to include all of the Cabinet agencies. We will be collecting co-chair signatures over the next two weeks and plan to publicize the signed letter online and via social media.
In addition, I would like to invite Administrator Pruitt to join us for the breakfast on Tuesday, May 9 where we will introduce our 2017 Service to America Medals finalists, including two finalists from EPA. You should have received an invitation to the breakfast already, and I hope you can make it again this year.
Could you forward the attached invitations and letter to the Administrator's office to ensure they receive and are able to consider the request in a timely manner?
