During this period the normal maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment may result in the removal of friable asbestos insulation in excess of 260 feet of pipe and/or 160 square fe't ,o surface of ducts, tanks, turbines, etc. All replace ment insulation -will be of a non-asbestos type. Especially large projects will be served by individual notification. In accordance with the National Emission Standards for asbestos, published in the Federal Register 40 CFR 6.1 dated October 4, 1975, the attached information is furnished as our written notification to carry out this work.
