Beale, who presided, and Mr. A, M. Wilson reported the slantes of the meeting* The minutes of the meeting of March 9, were read and approved* Messrs* Gardiner and Reeves reported on Mr* Geatty's visit evsr here last Tuesday, and ware pleased with the helpful suggestions he made with regard to the metal end of our basins es* It was decided te accept Mr. L. R. Zinas man' 8 resignation, as of April 1* Bscaase of the faet that Mr. Zimmerman has served this company faithfully for twenty-three years, and because of his ill health ever the past nine months, a partition allowance of six months salary, ia Ilea ef a pension, was considered more than justified in this particular case* Mr. Beeves reported it may be necessary, ia order te meet the labor requirements at the plant, te employ a certain number of men, to do elerieal work, in the age hraekst over sixty. Mr* Beeves stated, however, that wherever possible women were being employed for this type ef work la preference te men in this age bracket* There being no farther business, upon motion the meeting adjourned.
