These turned out to be somewhat more elaborate than X anticipated, for neither subject, as covered in The Harben Lectures, lends itself effectively to the usual type of abstracting. X am satis** field, however, with these papers, as X was not with the abstract of the Lectures published some time ago in the Archives. The latter, X hasten to say, was of course, my own fault. X trust that these will not take up too much space, for they fill out the void which, otherwise, would be fairly evident in the S^raposiiim. / X shall look carefully at once at the representation of my third talk in the text of the Symposium as you have it, so as to satisfy myself that it is or is not satisfactory.
