It is of definite help to us and supports our earlier beliefs as to the seriousness of the problem. I particularly enjoyed your comment on the financial solvency potential for our attorney friends. I have passed this information on to our Construction Administration folks and they in turn are discussing our continuing the matter with the Port of Seattle, which manages Seatt1 e-Tacoma International Airport. Recent findings from the State Health folks, that have looked into the problem at the airport, indicate that the initial finding of 12-15% "asbestos}was a "hasty report" and greatly exaggerated the actual problem. 1t appears that 3"l/2% in compounds was the actual percent asbestos as determined by the State Health folks. None has been found in any of the air samples taken from the air sampling devices worn by the workers in the area. Therefore, apparently the problem was grossly exaggerated by someone "running for a union business agent position" as an election crusade type activity. In any case, the problem is considerably demin ished as to its urgency and seriousness. Thank you again for your kind considerations and if we can be of further service please call on us.
