Gentlemen: Re: 2:4:JXM When the writer of this letter was in Washington during the week of July 13, I called at your offices with refer ence to a paint questionnaire that had been sent us. At that time, I talked with Mr. Hansen of your Accounting Department. He advised me that you were trying to make a study of the cost of manufacture of paint. He suggested that it would be of some help if we would advance a cost breakdown on formulas that constituted the majority of our volume. Accordingly, we are herewith sub mitting formulas with cost breakdown of 7 items that constitute about 60$ of our volume. . The remainder is in a number of different items, each in a proportionately smaller volume. Enelosded also are labels that are attached to each product, which we thought might be of assistance so far as formula is concerned. We are anxious to cooperate with you in every respect and if there is anything further we can do, we will be happy to assist in every way that we can. Very truly yours COMPANY HHB:SM Enc.
