GENERAL Fuel oil prices appear to have peaked and modest reductions are expected. There are additional indications that titanium and antimony compound supplies will tighten and prices will increase. 2. OPPORTUNITIES A. Contacts have been made with the Engineering Department to ensure Purchasing's participation on the Burlington reactor replacement project. B. Arrangements were made to return about 2,500 lbs. of V-9229 to the supplier for credit at $37525/lb. C. A discontinued raw material, Epoxol 9-5 (approx. 5,850 lbs.) from Burlington and Flemington was sold at $0.80/lb. D. A truckload of Thermoguard "S" was purchased at $1.23/lb. prior to the price increase to $1.32/lb. E. Blanket orders were issued to a new source for electrical supplies. 3. VULNERABILITIES A.
