Customers have been assured continuity of supply and adherence to the highest quality and service standards." Heubach Inc* was formed recently by the owners of the European Heubach Organization to acquire the colored pigments business in Newark. As previously announced, Heubach signed an agreement to purchase the business from Du Pont on December 15, 1983. Heubach, which operates three plants',in Europe, is a major pigments supplier there and has been a participant in the pigments industry for more than 150 years. According to Mr. Heubach* European sales volume, driven by technical innovation, has tripled during the last ten years. Mr. Heubach said, "We regard the combination of Heubach and Du Pont pigments technology as a unique strength and a strong base for future growth in the D.S. pigments markets." 2 Heubach will continue the Newark product line, which includes load and zinc chromate pigments such as "Krolor"; azo pigments such as "Dalaraar", "Watchung", BON, "Naphthanil", green gold and lithol rubine; and copper phthalocyanine green and Victoria blue pigments. By the end of 1984, Heubach plans to offer new and improved pigment products, based on its West German technology, for the paint, printing ink and plastics industries. The company employs nearly 350 marketing, production and support people who had been previously associated with these product lines at Du Pont.
