Scott Appoints Three to Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention State Advisory Group TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Today, Governor Rick Scott announced three appointments to the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention State Advisory Group. Betsy Dobbins, 35, of Jacksonville, is an assistant public defender in the Jacksonville Public Defender's Office. Dobbins is appointed for a term beginning October 25, 2017, and ending at the pleasure of the Governor. Steve Hope, 57, of Miami, is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services Inc. Hope is appointed for a term beginning October 25, 2017, and ending at the pleasure of the Governor. Brennan Abramowitz, 20, of Tallahassee, is a Court Appointed Guardian Ad Litem. Abramowitz is appointed pursuant to federal statute 42.
