Dear Bill:
Attached is a copy of a letter received
from Mr. W. J. Maxwell in further reference to the
case of
about which I wrote you
on July 30th.
I passed along the information which you offered in your letter of August 20th on the subject and evidently the Socony Vacuum people are satisfied to let the matter stand as is at least for the present.
Very truly yours,
JAC:k Att. cc - M. A. Taylor

Attention: Mr. J. A. Costello
Dear Sir:
for your letter in connection
with
I have contacted our Boston office
and f ^ c ^ f t ^ t n e ^ n w e not seen nor heard from Chapman for the
past five weeks.
It is felt advisable not to insist upon an examination at this time. When he reappears for work he will be discharged. If at that time there is any intimation on his part that he is claiming an occupational disease we will arrange for an examination by Dr. Bowman. This man has not been engaged in tank cleaning since April 19AO
If there are any further developments of interest,
I will advise you.
