Note that film has basically doubled in price in 1979. This undoubtedly has been influenced by the fluctuation in the silver and gold markets, as well as the petroleum industry rise in base prices. Berry Contracting is in a position of having to respond to this cost increase by an appropriate increase in the selling price of our film and processing charges. In addition to the increase in film charges, we have also experienced additional increases in the cost of labor and operating expenses for the crews associated with the x-ray department. This has resulted in the necessity to revise the hourly rates for non-destructive examination work. We are enclosing our new Exhibit "G" for Non-Destructive Examination Services which will become effective on February 15, 1980. We would appreciate your incorporating this revised exhibit into our rate package on file in your offices.
