Standards for Asbestos Dust Dear Bob: Re your letter of 7/21/72 concerning subject, the following are the answers as we see them now: 1. Which products in your product line, if any, contain asbestos and the amount of asbestos in them? Our only product line containing asbestos is our Kaylo (calcium silicate) line. Our Kaylo contains less than 52 asbestos. 2. Under what conditions when using this product will the user be in compliance and under what condition will the user not comply? If the product does not comply, what methods do you recommend for compliance? See attachments. 3. . What research have you done in monitoring and what systems did you use? See attachments. , 4. Owens-Coming Fiberglas has developed an asbestos free Kaylo (calcium silicate) product line which will be on the market no later than January' 1, 1973. We are at the present time currently test marketing the product and will begin phasing it into our Berlin Plant by October 1, 1972.
