Managing Director, Industrial Hygiene Foundation
It is indeed a pleasure to have so many of the Foundation's member companies represented here today. The charter members of Industrial Hygiene Foundation visualized it as a unifying agent, aiding in the advancement of occupational health on an industry-wide front, and I think your presence here today justifies their belief that industry needed and wanted such an organization. The joint effort of companies to foster health of workmen has been an effective method of dealing with socio-economic problems relating to industrial health.
Of equal importance in advancing industrial health are the individual efforts of companies to achieve optimum health maintenance in their respective plants. I think the member companies of Industrial Hygiene Foundation are leaders in this respect.
We want at this time to welcome seventeen new members to this year's meeting. They are;
