Memo tpJ:Ll On Monday, 10/13, B. Putnam called and advised the Executive Committee had voted to authorize the Pigments Division to withdraw from the lead chromate business. They would like the division to implement this decision as quickly as practical. A target date of 1/1/76 was given; v'ith the qualification that we do this in an orderly fashion with customers and workers. If the 1/1/76 date becomes impractical, the reasons should be reviewed with Mr. Putnam. Secondly, we were asked to give additional consideration of selling lead chromates in forms other than dry, e.g., prosscake and/or flushed color, and report back to the Committee our recommendations at the appropriate time. 10-13-75 H.
