Dear Bob: If memory and my very sketchy notes serve, you said at the Wednesday morning meeting at Pittsburgh that, whereas Dr. Sander had ventured the opinion that silicosis will virtually dis appear in the next 25 years, you felt that you could say that this would not be the case with lead poisoning, and that you believed that pluralism is as common in industry today as it was in much earlier times. I stupidly failed to look for a mimeo graphed copy of your paper at the close of the meeting and find nyself wishing that I had verification of your statement (with which I have no wish to quarrelj, as it could be very useful to me in connection with matters 'which will be coming up here in the next \7eek or so. If you feel disposed to write me a few lines confirming the above (or correcting it if I have gone astray), I shall be very grate ful.
