E13-B TEMPERATURE GRADIENT COMPARATOR Drawings, photographs and pertinent data were given to Mr. J. V. Bosbein by Mr. R. W. Higgins. Samples of hard faced block were displayed by Mr. Marden. These seemed to meet with Che approval of chose presenc. It was decided co apply cha facing to a full sized, plane run, Griptex block and run it through Che drying ovens at normal operating temperatures. 4. ~ E43-A TEST FURNACE - DETRICK-DENNIS-RICE HULLS Tile and fan are now ac Che Aurora plane. Remainder of material required/ ac cording to Mr. Speelman, will be at Aurora approximately November 15. 5. P2-A SPUN WOOL FOR GRIPTEX BLOCK Results of present test indicate.-that fibers are good but too many slugs are formed. Changes are contemp laced in Che blow cape eo reduce Che amount of slugs and shot. MISCELLANEOUS: The application of Casing cement to sample column, to determine weathering, will be done when time permits.
