The reports have been analyzed in accordance with our usual Quality Assurance procedures which basically involve a comparison of the underlying raw data with the data reflected in the final reports. The reports have passed this limited scrutiny. However, we are also aware that this level of scrutiny falls short of a complete validation analysis presently required by at least the Environmental Protection Agency; i.e., confirmation of the validity of the underlying data itself. This last step we cannot reasonably expect to accomplish in the near future, if at all. Therefore, the raw data which forms the basis for these reports and the conclusions have not been validated, and we do not know whether it will be possible to do so, based upon recent findings resulting from government inspections of IBT. On the other hand, your need for the reports on this study may be such that an in-depth validation of the raw data is unnecessary.
