I am very much afraid that unless we are to have considerable delay, it will be wise for you to have the small booklets printed, making use of the Spanish version as you now have it. I believe it will be found to be quite adequate for the purpose . for as you remember a copy was checked before its submission to you. I am having it rechecked in South America but it is worth while to point out that the final version for South Americans and Mexicans and Cubans might well be somewhat different from the Spanish as used in Spain. I think there will bo no question that the Instructions will be understood, and I do not think we will be justified in trying to make the paragraphs correspond to the various Idioms employed in the respective countries. I think, therefore, it will bo just as wise to let it stand as it is. I hope you will be able to obtain the Italian version and we will eventually have the Spanish of.the larger booklets of regulations so checked as to have it satisfactory. I suspect it will be wise to have it . printed in the United States since we are more concerned with Mexico and South America than we are with Spain. As to the article by Duvolr and Coste, I wonder if it would not be advisable to have instructions issued to our various medical consultants abroad that all articles on tetraethyl lead and leaded gasoline be submitted to you and by you to Edgar as Director of Research in order to make sure that no significant technical errors get into . the literature.by way of our own people, I shall raise this question with Edgar in New York tomorrow, and I dare say you will hear from him on the subject.
