MEETING OCTOBER 20-21, 1983 - NEW ORLEANS, LA. Attendance/Membership: Updated rosters will be circulated when they are received. The meeting was well attended and included considerable foreign representation. Favorable comments were heard on the conduct of the sessions and the content of the presentations. 1984 Meeting Place: Phoenix, Arizona 1984 VCSA Officers: ' Chairman - R. Frohreich, Conoco Vice Chairman - J. King, OCC Program Chairman - D. Middleton, Norsk-Hydro, based in England Secretary - J. Wallace, Esso-Canada Treasurer - J. Gabbett, Georgia-Pacific VCSA and the Vinyl Institute: A new safety subcommittee is to be formed under the V.I., and consideration has been given to inviting the VCSA to join with this new group. At the first day lunch in New Orleans, V.I. Executive Director, R. Gottesman, gave an overview of the Institute's activities and suggested that the VCSA members con sider joining the new subcommittee at some future time. However, at the next day's VCSA business meeting, the consensus opinion seemed to be non-committal to negative with two company repre sentatives speaking out firmly against such a move.
