MEMORANDUM J. Randall Jones rv Charles H. McCrea, \sittA Nevada Power v. Monsanto Company, et al. February 25, 1992
The files in this case, now occupying four or more file drawers, need desperately to be organized into some rational system. Probably this task is best handled by a paralegal, who would know what he/she was looking at and could classify, segregate and index the documents accurately.
Attached is a file memo I have prepared suggesting the major categories into which the documents might be segregated. We have a brief breathing spell while the 9th Circuit considers the defendants petition for rehearing (odds are 1 5 - 1 against them on this) , after which they may try to overwhelm us with discovery demands. It would help immeasurably to have our files organized when this occurs.
Have you any paralegal you could assign to this project?
