As a result of this procedure* the foreman is able to pick out accident exposures and tpuafe-p^aetioes* Preventive measures are then to be initi^rtsdi INSOSTRIAL HYGIENE RECOMMENDATIONS Mr* Baker indicated that the installation of exhaust equip ment Is scheduled for the Brook Press - Preform area within the next thirty to sixty days. This additional equipment should minimize the asbestos exposure in this area ofyour plant. ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION - BLOK PRESS DEPARTMENT Mr. Baker* Mr. Roberts* and I investigated the circumstances involved In the 5/15/63 accident to Mr* Walter D. Bovin in the Blok Press Department. Mr. Baker pointed out that the accident was produced when Mr. Bowen stepped on the stripper treadle and caught his finger between the stripper and the upper plate as the die was being stripped.
