In the follow-up to a finding at Dordrecht, we analyzed the Ho. 2 Wet

finishing line every 30 minutes for 2 hrs for C-8 and % moisture. We received
the following results. I am at a loss to explain why C-8 levels are varying
this much. Any ideas? If you know of someone else w ho's opinion would be of
importance here, please send this note on to that person.

Roger, Here are the results of the V-disk samples
VD-1 1564.75 PPM C8 - FEP 5100 - 30 minutes - 74.1% solids VD-2 1302.68 PPM C8 - FEP 5100 - 60 minutes - 75.5% solids VD-3 1173.65 PPM C8 - FEP 5100 - 90 minutes - 75.8 % solids YD-4 907.81 PPM C8 -FEP 5100 - 120 minutes - 78.1 % solids Time shown is time since starting feed of a new batch to the wet finishing system. I 'm not sure if the % solids change could cause such a massive shift in the C-8 concentration from sample to sample but it could be a factor.
