Our letter addressed to Mr* A* Soder, the director of this division, was referred to Mr* Ton Riley and Mr, Blley called to express his Interest in the Sprayed Mineral Tiber Manu facturer's research work for the teat nethod and to request that he he kept informed as the work progresses* 2* Six test specimens were delivered hy Mr* Prank'Stuapf last week* Mr* Stumpf advises as follows* "The sprayed.mineral fiber vas applied approximately 1* thick in one application after which it vas given a light wates. over-spray and left untaaped"* Mr* Stumpf has also supplied the taro weight, dry gross veignt, thickness and density la lbs./cu*ft* for each of the samples# 3* Mr* Stunpf has advised us that a scale meeting the Associa tion's requirements may be obtained froa the Scientific Glass Apparatus Co*, Ino* in Bloomfield, 27ev Jersey* A purchase order for this scale in the amount of 169*50 was sent to them on June 16th, 1967* . continued on Page 2 ..continued from Pag 1 -2- June 21*t,196?
