The cevittee requested that articles pertaining to "off the Job" safety be included la the forthcoming issues. The secretary indicated that such articles would be considered for the next edition. The awards will be aalled by the Association to suprvi,orv personnel for presentation. 1 4. The chatman mentioned a potential preblaa area la the industry where asbestos is used. Government investigations indicate the possibility of the use of asbestos as a cause of lung diseases la industry. Payment of claim arising free this could cost our industry aaay dollars unless | counteraction is taken. The chalman indicated that he would inform the Association directors of this potential problem at the Sanlaaaual Meeting , in October and tan--nil that aceloa be taken against dust problem in industry. 3.
