Formerly this product contained 0.1% mercury based on solids and will now contain only 0,02%. In place of the mercury removed we are using a fungicide known as E-965. This compound, available from I. & B. is chemically 2-benzimidazole carbamic acid methyl ester OCH 3 We would appreciate a written opinion from Haskell Laboratory regarding safety in using E-965 fungicide in consumer paints Composition of the new #50 White paint is attached.
