INTRA-ORGANIZATION MEMORANDUM RS-7 Julius Nemeth Henry Ruby DATESeptember 29. 1975 Always provide address to which reply is to be sent .SUBJECT. Please use a separate sheet for each subject treated Henry: Thanks for copy received of the letter from the U.S. Dept, of Labor addressed to the R. T. Vanderbilt Co. Please jot on the bottom of this memo and return to me the name and address of the individual with whom you have been in contact and who in fact sent you this letter so that I can follow further from here. The point is that they specify in this letter, if R. T. Vanderbilt has scientific evidence that naturally occurring talcs do not contain fibrous or asbestiform, tremolite, etc. etc., they may certify to their customers that the talc does not contain asbestos. What they still have not done for us is to certify or decline to certify as to whether or not the talc does contain asbestos and that is the specific follow up I want to make with them. Please advise. Cordially yours. JKN/tw JULIUS'- ATTACHE IS A LETTER I RECEIVED FR9M VANDERBILT IN REPLY Tt my Inquiry concerninc possibility of asbestos content in nytal 200.
