Curtis, M.D. Standard Oil Company of California 225 Bush Street San Francisco, 20 California Dear Curt: I glanced over the reports of the second series of analytical results shortly after I returned home from England (November 2nd) and finding nothing unusual in them I decided not to write about them until I made some show of getting my affairs in order or until something out of the ordinary should turn up. As you will have noted, the results have been consistently normal, and there has been no reason to comment on them. I have just completed a review of the tv/o sets of results, so far as the second set are available, and I find nothing about which to comment. The highest concentration of lead found in a sample of urine (C. A. Hunt - 0.11 mg. per liter) is within normal limits, and almost all of the others (only two exceptions) are in the low normal range. \ - - . . - The several questions raised in connection with the earlier results - .namely, the high results obtained on the urine of Benjamen and Rio3 have now been offset by low results. (The more significant question concerning the finding in the blood of Kenneth Glasgow was answered earlier by the analysing of further samples.) Only one remains to be answered, the answer may turn up later, but if it does not, I'd like you to inform me sometime. This relates to Selbough^ who has not been sampled as yet on the second round. If he has been eliminated from the group I shall need to know why. I realise that the second round of sampling and analytical work has not been completed, there being IS outstanding on my list, but I note the lack of this man's sample because his blood yielded aberrant findings in the first round. !. ; .
