Dixon: On July 12, 1971 1 made a Job site Inspection of the Kono-Kote fire-proofing. " I met and discussed the job with the plaster's foreman j Olvln Williams. We discussed age of the material and the application. I discussed proper sequence of mix ing, proper amount of water to use, proper use of re tarder and proper application to the steel. I observed the material that had been Installed. The 7 material was soft and dusty and did not appear to a good bond. The material also showed the use of ex cessive amounts of retarder.
