'ile Cole Gallagher Siegel The recent shipment (4/20/72) of the subject initiator showed rather high differences in the assay analyses. Previous exper ience of similar nature (shipment of 5/5/71 to Flemington, high out-of-specification with 44.0/ and 43.6/ assay) was explained by Lucidol with difficulties in their initiator mixing system. While changes in reaction rates may not he noticed., it is desir able to get our money5 s worth as well as a relatively constant product quality, therefore, Lucidol was notified via Purchasing (J.F. Bubnis) of the situation. Furthermore, the certificate of analysis listed lot MMGC015 only. Attached is a list of the assay results obtained with samples from the shipment of 4/20/72. It is noted that the rerun of re samples (taken from another bottle of the same box previously analyzed) from lot MMGC015 show good reproducibility of the in itial results.
