No facility representatives were present at the time of the inspection. The inspection was conducted by the authority of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to determine compliance with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. There were no other federal, state, or local agency representatives present at the time of the inspection. FACILITY DESCRIPTION EPA conducted an inspection on the Nevada Oil, LLC / Duke Tank Battery facility, which contains one (1) tank for crude oil storage and one separator/heater treater. No drainpipe was observed for the tank battery. Map 1. Aerial imagery (Google Earth dated 11/17/2023) of the Nevada Oil, LLC / Duke Battery facility. 2 Section II - OBSERVATIONS Nevada Oil, LLC / Duke Tank Battery (ARU002305 / CWA) Inspection Date 04/17/2025 I observed the facility signage, secondary containment, pipes and valves, storage tank, and the separator/heater treater; see Appendix 1 (Photographs Log), Photos No. 1 and No. 2. For additional GPS location and photo metadata, see Appendix 1. I observed the heater treater, a tote tank used for oil skimming, and accumulated stormwater with iron staining and minor sheening inside the secondary containment, see Photos No. 3 and No. 4. I observed dirt work inside secondary containment and along the berm, see Photo No. 5. I observed residual, loose crude oil inside secondary containment, see Photo No. 6. I observed a new coupling used to repair a flowline at the crude oil storage tank, see Photo No. 7. Section III - AREAS OF CONCERN No closing conference was held due to no personnel with Nevada Oil, LLC being present during the inspection. Areas of concern at the time of the inspection include the following: No updated contact information for the facility (Photo No. 1), and Residual, loose crude oil inside the secondary containment (Photo No. 6). Section IV - FOLLOW UP Inspector will conduct follow-up phone calls with the company representative(s) over the coming weeks and months to ensure areas of concern are properly addressed.
