Lucile and I thought it such a decorative thing in our apartment that we were loath to take it apart, but the fruit was much tocglikely to undergo some undesirable changes in our warm apartment that we Lave succumbed to the necessity of putting it, especially the pears, in the refrigerator. I felt very much like a youngster with his first pair of new boots, because of the beauty of the ensemble, but also the atmosphere of peace and plenty which exuded from the basket, was certainly in the spirit of Christmas. It was a wholly unnecessary and surprising gift, but is all the more appreciated. I hasten, while there is yet a little time, to wish you and yours a happy, happy Christmas, and a most satisfactory 1972. And while your kindness to me and Lucile is a very personal thing, I add to my good wishes to you, my hope that a SADCO will have helped in some measure, and have benefltted thereby, in making some beginning toward the development of understanding on the part of the new agency for Occupational Health in the Federal Government.
