Incidentally, I have retired as the Director of Kettering Laboratory, and of the Department of the College of Medicine of the University of Cincinnati of which the Kettering Laboratory is a part - this is now the Department of Environmental Health, of which Edward P. Radford, Jr., M.D. is now the Director. However, I am continuing, for a time, to handle the investigative work on lead. The work is supported jointly now by Ethyl Corporation; E.I. du Pont ce Nemours; The U.S. Public Health Service, through its Division of Air Pollution; Lead Industries Association; and American Petroleum Institute. (The organizations nre listed in the order in which they entered into the sponsorship of the Ajrork, which was initiated in 1939, in relation to "The Metabolism of ingested Lead.")
