Also enclosed is a sheet showing the particular companies that seem to be having trouble conforming to the Surgeon General's requirements. You will note that for the month of January both the lead per gallon and percentage of samples over 3 cc continued their downward trend, but during February it increased to an alarming extent. The increase may be only temporary, but I think we should continue to concentrate on this work in an attempt to reduce both the percentage of samples over 3 cc and the lead per gallon and secure even a better record than we hod during January.
