October 22, 1948 Memorandum* Hr. Dayton From Doctor Vorvald Subjects Owens-Illinois Glass Co.'s Contract 1. I bellere the aexplication regarding the above contract can be straightened out as follows* A. The Laboratory will prepare a final report in regard to the contract which terminated on February 15, 1948, and at that tine will inform you so that you say submit a statement far $1250. to be enclosed with that report* B. The Saranac Laboratory will also prepare an interim report in accordance with the agreement in effect as of May 1, 1948, which ve will assume is ou a basis of I $5.000. annually. At that tins a bill should be pre1 pared to cower the first six mouths in the amount of $2500* and should accompany the report. 2.
