Please find attached the letter from the Executive Secretary of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions inviting comments on the following:
(1) Draft risk management evaluations for chlorinated paraffins;
(2) Draft risk management evaluation for long-chain PFCAs, their salts and related compounds (and supporting information, draft indicative list);
(3) Draft risk profile for chlorpyrifos (and supporting information);
(4) Draft document on long-range environmental transport.
As noted in the letter, at the POPRC-18 meeting held from 26 to 30 September 2022, the Committee adopted the risk profiles for chlorinated paraffins and long-chain PFCAs and deferred the decision on the draft risk profile for chlorpyrifos.
On the basis of the information submitted by Parties and observers and comments provided by intersessional working group members, the intersessional working groups prepared the second drafts of the risk management evaluations for chlorinated paraffins and long-chain PFCAs, their salts and related compounds; risk profile for chlorpyrifos; and document on long-range environmental transport.
Please kindly review the attached documents and submit comments to the Committee by e-mail to: no later than 17 April 2023.

Taking into account the comments received, the intersessional working groups will revise the documents for consideration at the POPRC-19 meeting, tentatively scheduled to take place from 9 to 13 October 2023 in Rome
