After this has dried the next coat shall be roughed on or trowelled smooth, depending on total thickness specified. Each coat shall be not over 3/4 inches thick. Thick nesses of 1-1/2 inches and more shall be reinforced with woven wire mesh before applying the final coat of cement. Final coat shall be trowelled level. 3. Finishing: (Alternates ) Hard Surface A 3/8" to 1/2" coat of Super Powerhouse Cement shall be applied and trowelled smooth with a steel trowel. When specified, the surface shall be painted after drying. Canvas After drying the cement shall be covered with 6 or 8 oz. canvas applied with lagging adhesive.
