EXPERIENCE WITH ASBESTOS MONITORING
Here is a summary of personal asbestos air sampling - usually partial to full shift duration - unsegregated by activity. The majority of the data are from lagging removal or repair. These data cover the last thirteen months of personal air data for asbestos.

As you can see, the exposures are remarkably good. We do not use
any "disposable" respirators for this work. We use half-face
rubber respirators (e.g. Comfo II) with dust/mist/asbestos filters,
or with high efficiency filters. Usually it's the dust/mist/asbestos
filter.
