GTE motors are optional. Both are universal motors available in 110 or 220 volt configurations. GSD motors generate 37.5% greater suction power. They are primary cooled motors. Vacuum air cools the motor. Each is equipped with a thermo-valve which opens when the motor overheats. Cooling air is drawn in to prevent burn-out. GSD motors can be adopted for blowing by mounting a special blower adopter on the exhaust.
