ALUMINUM CHLORIDE LIQUOR
CONOCO Aqueous Aluminum Chloride Liquor is 24% AlClj with a clear, straw yellow color. Applications include anti-perspirant production, paper sizing, sewage (phos phate) treatment and preparation of roofing granules.
LPA
LPA is a high-puritv aliphatic hydrocarbon with very low levels of aromatics and reactive impurities.
CONOCO CATAPAL* SR ALUMINA
Catapal SB alumina is an ultra-high purity pseudoBoehmite alumina. It performs as an excellent catalyst and catalyst substrate; easily formed.
CONOCO CDRTM FLOW IMPROVER
Conoco CDRTM Flow Improver is a solution of a high molecular weight polymer in a hydrocarbon solvent. When adding CDRTM to crude oil or hydrocarbon products flowing through a pipeline, the energy loss caused by turbulence is decreased significantly. Consequently, flow improvement and energy savings can result.
SYNTHETIC METHYLATED PHENOLS
Conoco is a world leader in the production of high-purity synthesized methylated phenols which are consistent in quality and performance. These products find a broad range of end uses as chemical building blocks in polymers, agricultural intermediates, antioxidants, pharmaceuticals, textile finishes and specialty compounds and solvents.

CONOCO METHYL CHLORIDE
An intermediate in the production of silicones, lead alkyls, butyl rubber polymerization, quaternary amines and herbicides.
CONOCO PC-500 RUBBER RECLAIM AGENT
A mixture of tolyl/xyly! disulfides in a naphthenic solvent used to reclaim natural rubber and rubber co-products.
OLEFINS AND AROMATICS
Conoco capitalizes on its integrated position in crude oil, refinery processing and natural gas to produce ethylene from heavy and light steam cracking facilities. Conoco produces ethylene, propylene, benzene, butadiene and a variety of co-products used as basic building blocks by the CPI. These products are used to manufacture derivatives such as polyethylene, aerylonitritc, SBR, nylon, PN C res ins, polystyrene, linear alcohols, glycols, noniouic surfactants, emulsifiers and antifreeze.

Based on a new generation of technology, Conoco now offers an exciting line of HOPE Resins which improve process economics and expand end use applications. A world scale plant, scheduled to come on stream in second quarter 1983, will manufacture resins which process faster, have improved ESCR/Top load balance and exhibit better odor and color properties than competitive materials.
Blow Mold--Resins permit part lightweighting through exceptionally high ESCR without sacrificing top load and impact strength. Parts exhibit high gloss, excellent color and low odor.
Injection Mold--Premium quality, fast processing homo polymer and copolymer resins. Parts exhibit high impact and top load strength with low warpage, good color and low odor.
Film--HM W HDPE resins are designed specifically for downgauged, high strength films suitable for develop ment of new end use applications.
Pipe--A broad line of both smooth wall and corrugated pipe resins. Tough, flexible, corrosive resistant smooth wall pipe resin with NSF and PPI qualification pending.
