The insulation is approximately 7 years old. Removal of the insulation is scheduled to start on September 19, 1988, with completion on September 30, 1988. All asbestos containing material will be removed using the negative pressure enclosure procedure. The insulation will be sealed in properly labeled impermeable plastic bags prior to removal from the area. Procedures to be employed during removal, clean-up, and disposal will conform to the requirements in 40 CFR 61.147 and 61.152. All asbestos containing materials removed will be disposed at Gulf Coast Waste Disposal Authority, Loop 197, Texas City, Texas.
